CNS
CNS is an acronym for Central Nervous System. A wide variety of chemicals may damage or depress the CNS, from relatively innocuous materials such as ethyl alcohol which is a depressant when consumed in large amounts, to nerve gases and organomercury compounds such as methylmercury hydroxide, which may be fatal if inhaled or absorbed through the skin in even tiny amounts.
