Detoxify
The word Detoxify is used in at least two senses in safety. Detoxify is often used to indicate the treatment of a patient, who has ingested or been exposed to a harmful chemical, in such a way as to lessen the effects of exposure. It is also used to indicate the process by which a harmful material may be treated to render it harmless, or less toxic.
