Is there anyone else out there studying the NVQ 4?
Hi - I was just wondering if there actually is anyone else out there studying on this NVQ 4 the same as me? And also wondering if I'm the only one that finds it confusing??!!
When I joined this course with Sheilds, they told me they had eleven others studying on the same course - where are you all?????
It would be good to start a dialogue this way if possible - from other courses I have done, I've found this kind of forum really useful. So is there anyone else out there who is brave enough to post an answer???

I to am doing the NVQ4 through sheilds, i do find
http://www.shepro.org useful. However i do agree it would be good to start a dialogue as i to find this kind of forum chat really useful.
Sorry forgot to introduce myself

Hi i am just stating the NVQ 4 and would also find this forum useful to be able to talk about subjects that will arise during the course.
I have just completed the NVQ4, this course is really for people who have experiance in the field. The course is not very hard to complete providing you are working within health and safety, sheilds and their assessors are there for you if you have problems or are not understanding the requirements of the course.
I suggest if you have not already done so, have a look around the resources section on the web pages. There you will find some helpful reminders and examples.
Don't be scared to ask, when you have this qualification it does not mean you know everything, you will still come up against new systems, procedures or even new work activities. When in doubt ask, this is not a course or occupation where you guess because you are scarred to ask.
I wish you all luck with your courses and remember, sheilds and their assessors are there to help, just ask and they will be more then helpful.
