Can anyone help with this one from dip 2:- 'Distinguish between active and passive systems designed to protect against dust explosions'

An active system would be a device that disapates the explosion on detection, e.g CO2 cylinder that activates on the rise of pressure detected "of course this would be calibrated"
A passive system is a explosion relier panel "to protect after the explosion"
Remember
Active - before
Passsive - after
and then apply the engineering principles
