IOSH Open Book Exam
After completing my NVQ 4 - I would like to know further information regarding the open exam, has anyone taken it and what is the format?

| The open assessment has only been run once as a pilot and some adjustments have been made following this. We will be sending you a guide to the assessment well in front of it so that you will have time to prepare. The first sitting of the assessment will be in September. At the moment we are expecting that there will be 8 short questions requiring 400 word answers (with a choice from 12) and 2 compulsory question which require 600 word answers. This is obviously subject to minor amendments but this won't be much at this stage. You will have 2 weeks in which to answer and return the script for marking. The guide to the assessment is currently in editing and this will be supplied to you when you register for Graduate Membership following successful completion of your NVQ. |
