Misadventure verdict on man who fell through fragile rooflight
An inquest jury sitting in Salisbury has determined a verdict of misadventure, having listened to 4 days of presentations and accounts of the fatal July 2004 accident in which an employee of T H White Ltd fell 10m through a fragile farm building's roof surface to the floor below as he accessed cereal drying equipment.
Part of the access route across the asbestos cement panel roof in Kingston Deverill, Wiltshire, required him to negotiate a 22cm-wide board.
