Innovative LA - private sector partnership to achieve high standards of health and safety
Wrexham County Borough Council is to work in partnership with Total Fitness UK Ltd, a leading operator of health and fitness centres, on a health and safety partnership scheme. The national scheme aims to achieve the highest possible standards of health and safety within the company.
The Borough Council will, as a result of the collaboration, have the opportunity to act strategically in the development of consistent and coherent standards of health and safety management across the whole organisation, its Environmental Health Officers are to act as the liaison point for key health and safety issues between other Local Authorities and Total Fitness, and will foster a consistent approach to enforcement.
