Farmer became trapped in machinery
Following soon after last week's fatal accident on a farm in Cumbria involving farm machinery, another incident occurred at the weekend illustrating the dangers inherent in the use of most farm equipment. A man in his 50's came close to losing his life on a farm in Milton of Glenbuchat, Aberdeenshire, when he became trapped by the leg in equipment, but was released by emergency services who air-lifted him to Aberdeen where he is recovering from serious leg injuries.
