French workers in MEWP electrocuted hanging Xmas lights
2 French municipal workers were electrocuted yesterday during the installation of seasonal fairy lights in Houppeville, Rouen, in the Seine-Maritime region of France.
The victims, aged 40 and 46, were working in a mobile elevating work platform when the metal lights contacted a nearby 20kV overhead power line.
