Taiwanese aircraft's emergency landing in South Korea.
Turbulence or near miss? Investigation should shortly establish the nature of the apparent evasive action taken by a Taiwanese Far Eastern Air Transport Boeing 747 yesterday as it was about to land at Cheju Island, South Korea, of the 129 passengers and 8 crew members, 16 passengers and 5 crew were hospitalised with injuries.
The Taiwanese aircraft appeared to have aborted its descent as if another aircraft was in the vicinity.
