Australian bus company axes drivers on safety records
The Sydney Buses transport company has terminated the contracts of 10 drivers and suspended 4 others whose driver accident rate is deemed to be above acceptable levels, 4 others have received demotions.
The company employs 4K drivers who cover 80M km annually, studies over the last 7 years of accident records reveal that around 1% of the drivers fell into this unacceptable category.
