Snagged clothes strangle child in French elevator
A 4-year old French boy has been strangled in an elevator in Champigny-sur-Marne, 7 miles east of Paris, after his clothing caught on the door opening as the lift began to descend.
He had entered the lift with an older brother at 4th floor level, as soon as the descent began he was left hanging at the ceiling, the OPAC-75 equipment had been recently maintained and apparently in good working order.
