Czech nurse accused of multiple murder of patients
A 30-year old former Czech male nurse has been arrested over allegations of murdering 7 patients and attempting to murder a further 10 by administering fatal doses of heparin to patients in post-operative or accident care, the incidents are alleged to have occurred between May and September this year at a hospital in Havlickuv Brod, 60 miles southeast of Prague.
The accused was dismissed from his post but had latterly been working at a hospital in Jilove, south of Prague, a further statement on the case is expected next Monday (11th) and the Czech Health Ministry may also decide to form a special commission of investigation.
