Overturning lorry kills Spanish rail worker in tunnel site
A 35-year old Spanish construction worker operating a lorry's electronic remote control arm has been killed in an accident in a rail tunnel at Barcelona's Sants station under the Plaza Joan Peiro where the new high speed rail link has been developed in recent months.
The lorry became unstable and overturned, inflicting fatal crush injuries.
Catalonia fatal accident figures rose sharply last year, figures for 2006 (excluding December) were 137( 95 over same period in 2005).
