Wind power generator collapses on Japanese wind farm
Inspectors from the Japanese Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency are studying the collapse of a 70-metre tall wind power generator at the Iwaya Wind Farm operated by Eurus Energy Iwaya in Higashidori, the 1,300kW structure was manufactured in Denmark and should withstand wind speeds of up to 216 km/h, no locally high winds have been reported.
