Cargo hatch of Turkish plane opens at 2,000m
Turkish authorities are investigating an air incident in which the tail cargo hatch of an Onur Air MD88 aircraft with 134 passengers opened at an altitude of 2,000 metres during a domestic flight between Istanbul and Izmir, some cargo fell into the sea and more on to the runway at Istanbul where it returned to make an emergency landing.
Technical and safety concerns saw a number of EU states withdrew landing facilities to Onur Air 2 years ago.
