Texan subcontractor survives electric shock and scaffold fall 15.01.07
A 22-year old Texan subcontract construction worker survived an electrical accident and fall from a scaffold at the site of the new Valley Grande Institute for Academic Studies in Weslaco, Texas.
The employee of Midway Welding, subcontracted to Hacienda Custom Builders, was on top of the scaffold when a long light steel section he was handling contacted a live conductor, causing him to fall 10m.
He was listed in critical condition with head injuries and abdominal and foot burns but he has shown improvement.
