Woman's death linked with US radio show's water drinking competition 17.01.07
A 28-year old Californian woman has died after participating in a water-drinking game show, a coroner's initial observation of cause of death being consistent with 'water intoxication'.
The victim had been a participant in the 'Hold Your Wee for a Wii (Nintendo video game system)' organised by Entercom Sacramento's KDND radio station, where competitors had to consume 8x225ml bottles of water and resist urinating.
