Cruise ship runs aground in Antarctica
The Norwegian cruise ship MS Nordkapp of Hurtigruten Group ran aground on Deception Island in Antarctica this week, however the 123-metre-long ship managed to refloat itself with no injuries to the 76 crew or 294 passengers.
After anchoring in Whalers Bay it was expected to sail with a precautionary escort back to the Chilean port of Ushuaia.
