Explosion of tetraethylene tank kills 2 workers at Turkish oil refinery 02.02.07
An explosion during maintenance work yesterday at Turkey's largest oil refinery left 2 workers dead and 5 others injured, the incident at the Tupras refinery in Izmir, 55 miles southwest of Istanbul, occurred while chemicals company Innospec was engaged in dismantling and cleaning a tetraethyl tank.
