MEWP fatality in south Australia
An accident involving a mobile elevating work platform (MEWP) in Dandenong, south of Melbourne, has led to the death of a worker. The MEWP was being removed from a vehicle when it became ustable, fell and broke upon impact with the ground at equipment hire premises. The victim was thrown under the equipment and sustained fatal crush injuries.
