Dimethyl sulphate leakage from Chinese lorry in transit
A leakage of dimethyl sulphate from a lorry in transit in Hubei, central China, has led to the death of 1 motorist and saw at least 125 people hospitalised at the weekend, the car driver succumbed to the effects of the chemical which issued for several miles along the highway, the lorry drivers have reported themselves to the police.
