Japan: Employee strangled by ice crushing equipment
A Japanese theme park employee has yet to regain consciousness after her clothing became caught in a rotating part in ice crushing equipment at the weekend.
The 21-year old part-time employee of Universal Studios in Osaka was found with her head inside the 0.7m-deep equipment in an unconscious state, part of her uniform had snagged on the rotor inside the equipment which she had begun to clean towards the end of the day's work, it remains unclear why the rotor had not deactivated prior to the task.
