Elephant tramples handler in Indiana
An animal handler has sustained fatal crush injuries after being trampled by a circus elephant during the loading of the animal on to a lorry at the Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, northeast Indiana.
The victim was one of a crew of three handlers of Shrine Circus, it is understood that he was working alone locking the door when the incident occurred.
