Fire extinguisher explodes during depressurisation killing US airport worker
A Colorado airport maintenance worker has been killed while attempting to depressurise a fire extinguisher in a United Airlines hangar at Denver International Airport.
The large extinguisher is of the type used to control fires within aircraft, the equipment became violently unstable and exploded as it was being handled, assuming the characteristics of a rocket.
