#The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) is to hold a seminar, From the Ashes of Disaster, where delegates can learn of the ways organisations can benefit from the thorough investigation of accidents and incidents at work. - It will be an informative event for anyone involved in health and safety risk management and the development of safe systems of work, such as health and safety professionals, chief executives, risk managers, safety representatives, human resources managers and emergency service investigators.
Speakers include: It will be held at the Marriott Forest of Arden Hotel, Warwickshire, on November 8th, visit http://www.rospa.com/accidentinvestigation/ for more information “Many businesses are still not gaining maximum benefit from their approach to the investigation of accidents and incidents.
As a result, they are not learning the lessons which could improve their overall management of health and safety.
Professional investigation can yield huge value, particularly by pinpointing areas for change and development, thus cutting future casualties, costs and appearances in court.
We hope the seminar will inform, challenge and motivate people to refocus on accidents and incidents as valuable opportunities for safety change.”
