Audits & Inspections


Option 1:

Standard SHE Audit and Inspection:  

a) SHE Audit and compliance review (complete)

b) Required by law and Recommended – OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) compliant 2.9.2 SHE Management file. This is essentially your SOR (Statement of Results) verifying the successful management of your SMP (Safety Management Plan)

c) Training and/or “refreshers” as identified during the SHE Audit/Inspection

Who will Benefit from this service?

“The Standard SHE Audit will be conducted typically by the business owner that are on par. He/she is OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) compliant and aims to keep his business this way. This business owner aims to keep his business, and staff, up to date, and trained, to be fully SHE compliant always. Audits/Inspections are typically conducted Quarterly (3 months), Annually or in the case of a significant, or noticeable process change.


Option 2. 

SHE Baseline Audit and Inspection:

a) Lacking due to various reasons. A “Real time performance review” to determine the status and performance of the current SMP (Safety Management Plan)

b) Required by law and recommended – OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) compliant 2.9.2 SHE Management file. This is essentially your SOR (Statement of Results) verifying the successful management of your new SMP (Safety Management Plan)

c) Training and/or “refreshers” as identified during SHE Baseline Audit/Inspection

Who will benefit from this service?

 “This option will greatly benefit the business owner that needs to update his/her SHE systems and/or SMP (Safety Management Plan) in a business that might have been neglected for a quarter term (3 months) or more. Due to various reasons and/or conditions, (staff turnover, process change, expansion etc.) it is required that a Base Line Audit/Inspection is conducted to determine real time performance and possible gaps. From this point on wards, the necessary adjustments or improvements identified during the Baseline Audit/Inspection are implemented to again obtain OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) compliance.”     


Option 3:

SMP Design and Implementation:

a) New Business – No, to very little, SHE Management

b) Required by law and recommended - OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) compliant 2.9.2 SHE Management file. This is essentially your SOR (Statement of Results) verifying the successful management of your SMP (Safety Management Plan)

c) Unsuccessful SMP (Safety Management Plan) with poor, to no results. This process includes re-design and implementation of a workable SMP (Safety Management Plan)

d) Training as identified and determined by the SMP (Safety Management Plan)

Who will benefit from this service?

“Not OHS compliant and no SMP – This service includes any new business that employs workers or staff or a business that has not had a SMP implemented. This service will involve a total new SMP design, full implementation and monitoring for at least 3-6 months after implementation to verify the success and compatibility to the business. In plain, Does the SMP work for the business?”


Corrective Actions (Additional service and upon request):

Required by law - OHS compliant 2.9.2 SHE Management file.

(Essential: This would be any employers SOR (Statement of Results) verifying the successful implementation and management of a workable SMP and subsequent compliance.)

 

1. Training and/or “refreshers” as identified during SHE Baseline Audit.

2. Manage minimum required legal appointments.

3. Implementation of SHE committees.

4. Drafting of SHE Policy.

5. Investigate and develop risk register.

6. Evaluate current SHE culture and compliance (management and staff interviews).

7. Develop a sound, and workable SMP (Safety Management Plan), which integrates data gathered from management and staff interviews and base-line audit inspection conducted.

8. Follow-up, measure and evaluate the impact and effective implementation of SMP (Safety Management Plan).
